Washington Travel Immunizations

Travel to exotic destinations throughout the world can be exciting, life – changing experiences. One of the least desirable outcomes is to fall prey to a preventable infectious disease.

Dr. Chevalier provides pre-travel consultations as a separate service from her work with Privia. In our Washington, DC and Largo, MD offices, we obtain a detailed history, focusing on your current health, immunization history, and your travel itinerary. We then perform a physical exam, discuss and administer travel immunizations and provide preventative medication.

We also provide adult immunizations, TB testing for employment, and immigration physical exams with form I-693 completion.

Please contact us at the desired office to schedule your appointment. We do not bill insurance for these visits, but will provide a receipt with which you can request reimbursement from your plan.

Before your appointment, please visit the CDC Travel Health website for country – specific notices and vaccine information sheets at www.cdc.gov/travel.
